Tom will speak about his campaign for State Superintendent of Public Instruction at the California Young Democrats' Bay Area Candidates Forum.
Tom is expected to speak between 2:15-2:35 p.m. The event runs from 1- 4 p.m. at SEIU Local 87, 240 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco.

Tom plans to visit with the members of Public Employees Local 1 at their annual crab feed in Martinez.
Tom will talk about his campaign for State Superintendent of Public Instruction with members of the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council.
Tom will join other candidates for State Superintendent of Public Instruction in a candidates forum hosted by by ACSA Region 16 & the Administrators Association of Los Angeles.
The forum is free and open to the public. It will begin with a reception at 5 p.m., with the forum following at 5:45 p.m. The forum will be held at Central Los Angeles Area New High School #9 Visual and Performing Arts at 450 N. Grand Ave.
Ron Kaye, former Daily News Editor & now RonKayLA.com blogger, is moderator. LA Times education reporter Howard Blume & Dr. Maria Ott, Superintendent, Rowland Unified School District, are panelists.
